Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask South Pointe). They took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 48-7 win over the Lancaster Bruins. Winning may never get old, but the Stallions sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.
South Pointe's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was R.J. Brown, who rushed for 76 yards and three touchdowns. The team also got some help courtesy of Rasean Brown, who rushed for 68 yards and one TD on only seven carries.
South Pointe's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Lancaster, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.
