Meanwhile, Quincy stacked a 16th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 63-28 win over Geneseo on the road. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Quincy has posted since December 5, 2023.
Quincy found their leader in underclassman Jada Brown, who scored 19 points along with seven assists. Another player making a difference was Myley Longcor, who scored 17 points.
Galesburg's defeat dropped their record down to 20-3. As for Quincy, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-5.
Galesburg strolled past Quincy in their previous matchup back in December of 2023 by a score of 55-41. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Brown, who scored 19 points. Now that she's got a second chance to win this matchup, will Galesburg still be able to contain him? There's only one way to find out.
