Early has gone 9-1 against Dublin recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Longhorns will host the Lions at 7:00 p.m. Early is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

Early lost 9-3 to Tolar on Friday.

Meanwhile, Dublin came into Friday's game having lost nine straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They skirted past Eastland 12-10. The Lions' offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last three games.

Dalton Bullard was a standout: he went 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Hudson Joslin, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.

Bullard wasn't the only one making solid contact: Dublin kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Early's defeat dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Dublin, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-7 and their overall record up to 6-11.

Early beat Dublin 7-2 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Will the Longhorns repeat their success, or do the Lions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
