After having lost a blowout in their previous game against South Pemiscot, Portageville was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Dexter Bearcats as they made off with a 19-9 win. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won eight matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.
Avery Presley was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with three runs, four RBI, and two doubles. That's the most doubles she has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Lydia Albritton, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI.
