Bryan is a perfect 5-0 against Napoleon since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Golden Bears will host the Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Bryan 2, Napoleon 4.1) so any runs scored will be well earned.
Bryan's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 7-0 margin over Patrick Henry. Considering the Golden Bears have won four games by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Thea Staten made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 20 over seven innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than 11 strikeouts in six consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one run, one double, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Reese Ruffer was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. Another player making a difference was Averyann Fisher, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI and one run.
Meanwhile, it may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Napoleon ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They skirted past Anthony Wayne 4-2.
Arianna Kiessling (Jr) spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on three hits and racked up 16 Ks. Those 16 strikeouts set a new season-high mark for her.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Addy Thompson Jr), who went 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.
Bryan pushed their record up to 7-2 with the victory, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Napoleon, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-5-1 record this season.
Bryan took their victory against Napoleon in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 7-0 score. Will the Golden Bears repeat their success, or do the Wildcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
