Basketball Recap: Boerne Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Boerne entered their tilt with Harlandale on Saturday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They came out on top against the Harlandale Indians by a score of 46-39. That's more bragging rights for the Greyhounds, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Boerne got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Dalton Cunningham out in front who posted seven points and three steals. The dominant performance gave Cunningham a new career-high in points. Casen Hoegemeyer was another key player, putting up 13 points and five rebounds.

Boerne's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-6. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.8 points per game. As for Harlandale, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-7.

Boerne wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 45-42 win against Pieper on the 31st. As for Harlandale, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 81-27 victory against Eagle Pass on the 28th.
