Willow Spring is a perfect 5-0 against Green Level since March of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Storm will welcome the Gators at 4:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Green Level will be up against a hot Willow Spring team: the squad just extended their winning streak to 13. Everything went the Storm's way against Rolesville on Wednesday as they made off with a 17-2 win.

The team relied heavily on Georgia Miller, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, six RBI, and three runs. Those six RBI gave her a new career-high. Kalea Winston was another key player, going 1-for-2 with three runs and one stolen base.
Willow Spring was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .556. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .500 or higher in three consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Green Level got the win against Athens Drive on Wednesday by a conclusive 18-4.
Emilia Lyven was incredible, going 3-for-4 with six stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 1.2 stolen bases per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Stella Pepin, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one double.
Willow Spring's victory bumped their record up to 15-1. As for Green Level, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
Green Level's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Willow Spring has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 10.6 hits per game. It's a different story for Green Level, though, as they've been averaging 9.2 hits. Given Willow Spring's sizable advantage in that area, the Gators will need to find a way to close that gap.
