MAST Academy is 2-8 against Edison since December of 2014 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The MAST Academy Makos' road trip will continue as they head out to face the Edison Red Raiders at 7:30 p.m. on January 16th. MAST Academy will be strutting in after a win while Edison will be coming in after a loss.
MAST Academy scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They came out on top against Mater Brickell Academy by a score of 63-51. The victory was just what MAST Academy needed coming off of a 63-38 defeat in their prior contest.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Edison, who are still winless after their ninth match. They were the victim of a rough 64-40 loss at the hands of Booker T. Washington on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Edison has suffered since November 27, 2023.
MAST Academy's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Edison, they bumped their record down to 0-9 with that loss, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Everything went MAST Academy's way against Edison in their previous meeting back in November of 2022 as MAST Academy made off with a 43-21 victory. Will MAST Academy repeat their success, or does Edison have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
