The IDEA Sports Park Stingrays won the last time they faced IDEA Frontier College Prep, and things went their way on Friday too. IDEA Sports Park walked away with a 54-46 victory over IDEA Frontier College Prep. The victory made it back-to-back wins for IDEA Sports Park.
Several IDEA Frontier College Prep players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Alejandro Maldonado, who scored 17 points. Another player making a difference was Victor Mendez, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds.
IDEA Sports Park's victory bumped their record up to 16-4. As for IDEA Frontier College Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-12.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. IDEA Sports Park will square off against Santa Rosa at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Santa Rosa will be looking to keep their six-game home win streak alive. As for IDEA Frontier College Prep, they will head out on the road to face off against Monte Alto at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Monte Alto is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.
