Erik New Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Erik New produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Maxwell to the win on Friday. New rushed for 298 yards and four touchdowns on only 15 carries, and also picked up 111 receiving yards and a touchdown. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (123.6). He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 83-yard run.
Maxwell's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-1. A feisty cat fight will be fought when Panthers dukes it out withPortola at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Kayden Strong's big game helped extend Hamilton's winning streak to seven on Friday. Strong did his part (and then some), throwing for 174 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 passes, while also rushing for 46 yards and two touchdowns for the 'W'.
Strong and Hamilton will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Maxwell at 7:00 p.m. on November 1st.
