The Community Christian Academy Ambassadors kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell 70-58 to Curtis Baptist. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Community Christian Academy in their matchups with Curtis Baptist: they've now lost five in a row.
Curtis Baptist found their leader in underclassman Ty Shine, who scored 23 points. The matchup was Shine's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Wiltrez (Trez) Mincey was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with 8 rebounds.
Community Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Curtis Baptist, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Community Christian Academy will take on Ragin Prep Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Curtis Baptist, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Andrew Jackson Academy at 7:30 p.m. on December 7th.
