On Friday Gardiner take on West Yellowstone at 1:00 PM. Both teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
Don't be fooled by the insanely high score: we promise Valley Christian and Gardiner were playing football. Gardiner ended up on the wrong side of a painful 52-75 walloping at Valley Christian's hands. Gardiner's loss came about despite a quality game from senior Koby Willie, who rushed for 205 yards and 4 touchdowns. In fact, with 17 tackles Willie was a force on both sides of the ball.
Meanwhile, after a dominant win in their game two weeks ago, West Yellowstone were humbled last week. They suffered a grim 18-50 defeat to Hot Springs. The defeat was a vexing one since West Yellowstone were expected to win based on their national ranking.
