A feisty cat fight is on tap when  the Ringgold Tigers  duke it out with  the Union County Panthers at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday... Ringgold will be strutting in after a  win while Union County will be coming in after a  defeat.
Ringgold took a loss when they played away from home  on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed  on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  48-45  victory over North Cobb Christian. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  win the Tigers have posted  since February 15, 2024.
 Meanwhile, Union County fought the good fight in their overtime  matchup against Murray County  on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Indians by a score of  75-72. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game  on Friday (55), the Panthers still had to take the loss.
 Ringgold now  has a winning record of 11-10. As for Union County, their loss dropped their record down to 13-9.
 Ringgold was able to grind out a solid  victory over Union County in their previous meeting  on January 3rd, winning  59-51. Does  Ringgold have another victory up their sleeve, or will Union County turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
