It was a good run, but Watchung Hills Regional unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Saturday. They lost 15-7 to the Roxbury Gaels. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Warriors have suffered since April 24, 2024.

ETHAN CLAYTON made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was LANDON PUDLAK, who went 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.

Watchung Hills Regional's loss dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Roxbury, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-3.

Coming up, Watchung Hills Regional will head out on the road to square off against Hunterdon Central at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Roxbury, they will be playing at home against Morristown-Beard at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Crimson's pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so the Gaels' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
