Eastern Hancock's win on Thursday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ruby White, who scored 18 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was McKenzie Koch, who scored 18 points along with nine rebounds.
Defeat or not, Tri got some senior leadership from Rylee Boyd and Kennadi Knepley. Boyd scored 12 points along with two steals, while Knepley. scored nine points along with two steals. Knepley continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Nakaya Cridge was another key contributor, scoring no points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Eastern Hancock pushed their record up to 21-1 with that victory, which was their 21st straight at home. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 31.9 points. As for Tri, their defeat ended a 22-game streak of away wins and brought them to 20-3.
Eastern Hancock will square off against Triton Central at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Triton Central focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Thursday. As for Tri, they will face off against Randolph Southern at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Randolph Southern is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
