Piedmont and Parkwood are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2020, but not for long. The Piedmont Panthers will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Parkwood Wolf Pack at 7:30 p.m. Piedmont has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 737 points over their last 11 games.
Last Wednesday, Piedmont didn't have too much trouble with Mount Pleasant at home as they won 62-47.
Piedmont got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Fred Little out in front who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Miles Leaks, who scored 12 points along with five assists.
Meanwhile, Parkwood lost to Monroe on the road by a decisive 56-37 margin on Friday.
Piedmont is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season. As for Parkwood, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-8.
Piedmont came up short against Parkwood in their previous meeting back in January, falling 72-65. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Parkwood's Greg Vinson, who scored 25 points along with six assists.
