Zion Christian Academy is  a perfect 8-0 against Clarksville Christian since April of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Eagles will host the Centurions  at 12:00  p.m. Zion Christian Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.1  runs per game  this season.
Zion Christian Academy came out on top against Grace Christian Academy  on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run fifth inning. The Eagles put the hurt on the Lions with a sharp  7-1 win. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive  victory against them.

 Marleigh McWilliams made a splash no matter where she played. She  struck out eight batters over  seven innings while giving up just one earned run off   four  hits. That's the most  strikeouts  she has posted since back in March. She was also stellar in the batter's box,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  double.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Laila Powell, who  got on base  in all four of her plate appearances with one  triple, one  run,  and one  double.  Ellie Waltman was another key player,  going 1-for-3 with one  double and one  RBI.
 Zion Christian Academy  hit smart and  finished the game with only one  strikeout. The team has now struck out at least four batters  in 12 consecutive  matchups.
Meanwhile, Clarksville Christian entered their tilt with Christian Community on Monday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Colts, sneaking past  7-5.
Like Zion Christian Academy, Clarksville Christian also got a great game from a two-way player:  Anna Cheasty. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out 13 batters over  seven innings while giving up just two earned  (and three unearned) runs off   six  hits. Cheasty has been consistent: she hasn't  tossed less than six  strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-4 with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  double.
 In other batting news,  Reese Cocke and  Bella Mansfield did most of the damage at the plate:  Cocke  went 2-for-4 with one  triple, two  RBI,  and one  run, while  Mansfield  went a perfect 3-for-3 with two  stolen bases, one  run,  and one  double. Another player making a difference was  Yaraseth Cecilio, who  went 1-for-4 with two  RBI and one  run.
 Clarksville Christian pushed their record up to 8-1 with the  win, which was their fifth straight  on the road. Those  road  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Zion Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 10-6.
Monday's   game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Zion Christian Academy has hit smart this season,  having  averaged  an OBP of .478. However, it's not like Clarksville Christian struggles in that department as   they've  averaged .519. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
 Zion Christian Academy took their  victory against Clarksville Christian  in their previous meeting  back in May of 2024 by a conclusive  11-0 score. Do  the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Centurions turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
