The American Heritage Patriots and the Jensen Beach Falcons will face off on February 6th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Florida (American Heritage is ranked 319th, while the Falcons are ranked 318th).
Last Tuesday, American Heritage came up short against the Rams and fell 60-50. American Heritage has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Meanwhile, Jensen Beach scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They came out on top against John Carroll Catholic by a score of 73-64. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Jason Curry jr. continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 27 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Cordell Wilkins, who scored 12 points along with seven assists and five rebounds.
American Heritage has not been sharp recently as the team's lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season. As for Jensen Beach, the win got them back to even at 12-12.
American Heritage didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against the Falcons in their previous matchup back in December of 2022, but they still walked away with a 57-53 win. Does American Heritage have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Falcons turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
