Basketball Recap: Brennen Jefferson Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill

North Raleigh Christian Academy won the last time they faced Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill and things went their way on Thursday too. The North Raleigh Christian Academy Knights strolled past the Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill Lion with points to spare, taking the game 61-44.

North Raleigh Christian Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brennen Jefferson, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten boards. Jefferson's evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tristan Thompson, who posted eight points in addition to nine boards and five blocks.

Despite the loss, Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill still got an impressive performance from Noah Kim, who put up 26 points and six steals. The dominant performance gave Kim a new career-high in steals. Another player making a difference was Luke Kinder, who had ten points.

North Raleigh Christian Academy's record now sits at 4-6. As for Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

North Raleigh Christian Academy will take on Cresset Christian Academy in a holiday battle at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday at. As for Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Durham Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
