After losing to Pendleton Heights the last time they met, Muncie Burris decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Owls came out on top against the Arabians by a score of 3-1 on Wednesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Owls.

Muncie Burris walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-22, 20-25, 25-21.

Muncie Burris found their leader in sophomore Anna Murray, who had nine digs and two aces.

Muncie Burris was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in 11 consecutive matches.

Muncie Burris' record now sits at 19-6. As for Pendleton Heights, they now have a losing record of 15-16.

Muncie Burris has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Yorktown on the 11th. As for Pendleton Heights, they will square off against Mt. Vernon at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
