The Alta Hawks are taking a road trip to  take on the East Leopards  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Alta will be strutting in after a  victory while East will be coming in after a  defeat.
On Tuesday, Alta needed a bit of extra time to put away Murray. In a tight  game that could have gone either way, they made off with  a  52-51 win over the Spartans. The team accrued 34  points in the first half and coasted on those for the  victory.

  Alia Baldassano was  her usual excellent self,  putting up 20  points. The dominant performance gave  her a new career-high in points.  Quincy Kegel was another key player,  posting nine  points.
 Meanwhile,  East played a tough  match  on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a  blow against Fremont, falling  59-18. While losing is never fun, the Leopards can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Utah basketball rankings  (they are ranked 98th, while the Silverwolves are ranked 17th).
 Alta has  been performing  well recently as they've  won five of their last six contests,  which provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record  this season. As for East, their loss was  their third straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 2-8.
