Salmon River had to endure an 11-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 67-56 victory over the Genesee Bulldogs on Thursday. The Savages' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Genesee lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Noah Bollman, who went 9 for 13 en route to 19 points and three steals. Joshua Ketcheson was another key player, putting up seven points in addition to seven steals and five rebounds.

Salmon River's win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-13. As for Genesee, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last 12 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.

Salmon River will venture away from home to challenge Garden Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Genesee has already played their next game (against Troy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
