After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Big Spring, Delone Catholic was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the York Catholic Fighting Irish with a sharp 16-8 victory. With that win, the Squires brought their scoring average up to 6.6 runs per game.
Adyson Hummer made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out six batters over 4.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits.
