The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Napa in their matchups with Petaluma: they've now lost nine in a row.
Napa's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Christian Williams, who scored 15 points. Another player making a difference was Eli Mindle, who scored 13 points along with two steals.
Napa has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season. As for Petaluma, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-2.
