Pacific Baptist found their leader in underclassman Kevin Ullrich, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Gary Bird, who scored 21 points along with six rebounds.
Pacific Baptist's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.0 points per game. As for Faith Baptist Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
