Lake Zurich lost to Palatine back in February of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Lake Zurich Bears strolled past the Palatine Pirates with points to spare, taking the game 54-40. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bears.

Lake Zurich has also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-9 record this season. As for Palatine, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-9.

Lake Zurich will look to defend their home court on Friday against Waukegan at 7:00 p.m. As for Palatine, they will venture away from home to challenge Wheaton North at 10:00 a.m. on Monday.
