The Scappoose Indians scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They were the clear victor by a 76-51 margin over Tillamook. With that win, Scappoose brought their scoring average up to 50.2 points per game.
Scappoose's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Quinton Olson led the charge by scoring 18 points along with two steals. Colton Sprenger was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Scappoose has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season. As for Tillamook, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-16.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Astoria the next time they take the court. Scappoose will head out to face the Fishermen at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Cheesemakers will host them at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
