On Saturday Dundee take on Clyde-Savannah at 7:00 PM. The MaxPreps rankings say the odds are against Dundee, but that can only make success all the sweeter.
Dundee had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. Last Friday, they were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap, as they fell 14-18 to Dansville.
Meanwhile, Clyde-Savannah took care of business in their home opener. They strolled past South Seneca/Romulus/Dickerson with points to spare, taking the game 44-24. The team accrued the bulk of their points in the first half (38) and coasted on those for the victory.
Clyde-Savannah's win lifted them to 1-0 while Dundee's defeat dropped them down to 0-1. In their win, Clyde-Savannah relied heavily on sophomore Camden Chance, who rushed for 117 yards and 2 touchdowns; a key strategy for Dundee will lie in finding a way to minimize his impact.
