Standley Lake and Littleton are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2018, but not for long. The Standley Lake Gators will take on the Littleton Lions at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Littleton will be up against a hot Standley Lake team: the squad just extended their winning streak to four. Standley Lake took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 57-23 win over Conifer. The Gators have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 30 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Littleton). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Pomona 65-17. The Lions have beaten the Panthers the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Panthers has come to flipping the script.

Littleton's win came from a few key players Standley Lake will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Vicky Whitney, who posted nine points along with eight boards and three steals. She is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last five games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Lena Drakos, who went 6 of 11 to rack up 15 points.

Standley Lake's victory bumped their record up to 17-3. As for Littleton, their win bumped their record up to 7-12.

Standley Lake didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Littleton in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, but they still walked away with a 62-58 victory.
