Miley Anaya made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up three earned (and three unearned) runs off six hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-5 with one RBI. Those three hits gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Dysart let Mya Sias and Savannah Farmer run wild. Sias went 3-for-5 with five RBI, three runs, and one double, while Farmer got on base in all six of her plate appearances with four runs, two doubles, and one RBI. That's the most hits Sias has posted since back in April of 2025. Cheyanne Samarripas was another key player, going 2-for-4 with four runs and one RBI.
Dysart kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 4.6 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 games they've averaged 8.8.
Crismon came out on top against Combs on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run third inning. The Rattlers put the hurt on the Coyotes with a sharp 10-3 victory. The result was nothing new for the Rattlers, who have now won nine matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.
Crismon also got a great performance from Emma Phelps as she struck out eight batters over 4.2 innings while giving up three earned runs off seven hits (and not a single walk).
At the plate, Ava Rodriquez was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Rebecca Garcia, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
The win was the third in a row for Dysart, bringing their record up to 5-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 18.7 runs over those games. As for Crismon, their win bumped their record up to 12-5.
Tuesday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Dysart has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .470. However, it's not like Crismon struggles in that department as they've averaged .506. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Dysart suffered a grim 18-1 defeat to Crismon in their previous meeting back in March of 2025. Will the Demons have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the action for a full breakdown of the game and more softball content.
