After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Ragsdale, Chatham Charter was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the River Mill Jaguars with a sharp 12-1 win. Considering the Knights have won seven matchups by more than seven runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Zach Cartrette spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on four hits and racked up 13 Ks. He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Chatham Charter is 5-2 when he allows at most one walk, but 4-5 otherwise.
