The Robertson Cardinals posted their biggest win since December 5, 2023 on Saturday. They blew past Del Norte 48-24. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Robertson.
It was another big night for Alyxa King-Greenwalt, who scored 16 points along with eight rebounds and two blocks. She continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Arianna Martinez, who scored 11 points along with two steals.
Robertson has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season. As for Del Norte, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Robertson's road trip will continue as they head out to face Los Alamos at 6:30 p.m. on January 16th. Hopefully Los Alamos focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 21 on Saturday. As for Del Norte, Del Norte and Highland will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 16th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hopefully Highland focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 27 on Saturday.
