Joliet Catholic's loss came despite strong showings from Sophia Mihelich and Allie Lesters. Mihelich scored 16 points along with two steals, while Lesters scored six points. That was a full 50% of Joliet Catholic's points, marking the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Joliet Catholic has been struggling recently as they've lost 15 of their last 17 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-25 record this season. As for Benet Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season.
