It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Garrison Bulldogs had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They blew past Leon 58-0 on the road. Garrison might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won ten games by 26 points or more this season.
Omarion Rasberry got back to being his usual excellent self, as he rushed for 110 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries. Antonio Yarbrough made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.
Garrison's win bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Leon, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
Garrison will head out on the road to face off against Beckville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Beckville's favor is that they have now posted big point totals in their last nine games. Leon does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
