Make it seven blowout wins for the South Pasadena Tigers this season. They put the hurt on Narbonne with a sharp 82-57 win on Monday. Winning may never get old, but South Pasadena sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead South Pasadena to victory, but perhaps none more so than Derek Peterson, who scored 19 points along with five assists and two steals. Russell Williams was another key contributor, scoring 20 points along with three steals and two blocks.
South Pasadena's win bumped their record up to 14-5. As for Narbonne, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-10.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Pasadena will take on Blair at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Blair has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 1,323 points over their last 17 contests. As for Narbonne, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Rancho Dominguez at 6:00 p.m. Rancho Dominguez will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 845th, while Narbonne is ranked 416th).
