The Castlewood Warriors scored the most points they've had all season to find success  on Tuesday. They came out on top against St. Mary by a score of  58-49. The  win was some much needed relief for Castlewood as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.
 Castlewood got their  win on the backs of several key players, but it was  Sophia Kudrna out in front who  scored ten points.  Presley Knecht was another key contributor,  scoring 15 points along with two  steals.
 Castlewood's victory  ended a three-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 3-8. As for St. Mary, they have  fallen quite a ways from their 16-6 record last season and are now  at 2-6.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Castlewood will take on Oldham-Ramona/R at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. Oldham-Ramona/R is coming into the  matchup on a three-game losing streak. As for St. Mary, they will look to defend their home court  on Thursday against Chester at 7:15  p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another  in South Dakota (Chester is ranked 89th, while St. Mary is ranked 104th).
