Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for The Lincoln Cardinals, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They suffered a tough 28-7 loss at the hands of Clackamas on Friday. Lincoln has not had much luck with Clackamas recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Jaxson Decker was the offensive standout of the game as he rushed for 204 yards and a touchdown while picking up 9.7 yards per carry. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke Baker, who picked up 63 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Clackamas, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4.
Lincoln does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Clackamas will face off against Newberg at TBD on Friday. Newberg is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
