Ralston is 0-10 against Skutt Catholic since January of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Ralston Rams will be home for the holidays to greet the Skutt Catholic SkyHawks at 6:00 p.m. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Ralston has struggled recently with four losses in a row, while Skutt Catholic will arrive with four straight victories.
Ralston pushed their score all the way to 56 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They suffered a tough 76-56 loss at the hands of Concordia. Ralston has struggled against Concordia recently, as their matchup on Saturday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the defeat, Ralston saw an underclassman step up: Davinchi Gray scored 24 points. Those 24 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Marce Holley, who scored nine points.
Meanwhile, Skutt Catholic didn't have too much trouble with MOC-Floyd Valley at home on Saturday as they won 71-54.
Ralston's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Skutt Catholic, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.
Ralston took a serious blow against Skutt Catholic in their previous matchup back in February, falling 88-61. The match was all but decided by halftime, at which point Ralston was down 47-27.
