On Friday, everything went the Gainesville Red Elephants's way against the Seckinger Jaguars as the Gainesville Red Elephants made off with a 56-31 win. The Red Elephants have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 23 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Gainesville to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jayla Mintz, who posted 12 points. Shailyn Jones was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Gainesville's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-6. As for Seckinger, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gainesville won't have much time to rest: their next game is against East Hall at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Gainesville is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.8 points per game this season.
