Dublin waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They never let the Foothill Falcons get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory. That's two games straight that the Gaels have won by just one run.

The result came thanks to Dalton Doyle's shutout, as he gave up just a hit.

At the plate, Dublin saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brandt Nunemacher, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Dublin's win bumped their record up to 16-2. As for Foothill, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 13-4.

Dublin will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Falcons: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
