Volleyball Recap: Westlake Christian Academy Makes It Four in a Row on the Road

Westlake Christian Academy posted their closest win since May 3rd on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the North Chicago Warhawks. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Warhawks recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Westlake Christian Academy was actually outscored in aggregate across those three sets (73-69), but they still managed to win. The final score came out to 16-25, 25-22, 28-26.

Josh Cook paced Westlake Christian Academy's offense, picking up six kills. Cook also shared the team's lead in assists with Johno Ledr: they picked up five each.

As for North Chicago, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Round Lake on the 13th.
