The South-Doyle Cherokees scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 80-19 victory over Eagleton College & Career Academy. The victory was a breath of fresh air for South-Doyle as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
South-Doyle found their leader in underclassman Payton Rollins, who went 6 for 8 from beyond the arc en route to 30 points and 7 assists. Those seven assists set a new season-high mark for her.
South-Doyle's victory bumped their record up to 4-8. As for Eagleton College & Career Academy, they bumped their record down to 2-6 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
