This season hasn't been kind to the Covenant Knights, who are still winless after their 14th match. They were outmatched by Dallas Christian on the road and fell 59-7. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Covenant has scored all season.
Josie Schlegel had a dynamite game for Dallas Christian, scoring ten points along with seven rebounds and five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Schlegel has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Kylie Murr, who scored ten points along with three steals.
Covenant dropped their record down to 0-14 with that defeat, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 17.4 points per game. As for Dallas Christian, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 13-6.
Coincidentally, Covenant and the Chargers will both be playing the Guard the next time they take the court. Dallas Christian will host Brook Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Covenant will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
