Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Tri-State Christian). They walked away with  a   30-18  victory over the Pathway Christian Panthers  on Friday. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Huskies.
 Tri-State Christian's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Catherine Benedict, who  dropped  a double-double on ten points and ten  rebounds. Benedict is  on a roll when it comes to  boards, as she's  now  pulled down ten or more in the last four games she's  played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Cloey Reuter, who  posted six  points.
 Despite the  loss, Pathway Christian saw an underclassman step up: freshman  Maggie Shetler  put up 12 points and six  rebounds.
Tri-State Christian's victory  ended  a  five-game drought at home  dating back to last season and  bumped them up to 2-2. As for Pathway Christian,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-5.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tri-State Christian will have some time to savor their  win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Faith Christian at 5:00  p.m.  on January 10, 2025. As for Pathway Christian, they will venture away from home to  challenge East Moline Christian  at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
