The Dundy County-Stratton Tigers put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 48-14 victory over Twin Loup at home. Considering Dundy County-Stratton has won eight matchups by more than 31 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Ethan Latta was his usual excellent self, rushing for 211 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 7.3 yards per carry. The team also got some help courtesy of Brodie Rogers, who gained 120 total yards.
Dundy County-Stratton's win was their sixth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 10-0. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 49.0 points per game. As for Twin Loup, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.
Dundy County-Stratton will head out on the road to face off against Howells-Dodge at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Howells-Dodge knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past four matches -- so hopefully Dundy County-Stratton likes a good challenge. Twin Loup does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
