Estero's defeat dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Mariner, the  win was  the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-4.
 Looking ahead, Estero will venture away from home to  square off against Cape Coral  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Mariner, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next  game,  a  7-1  loss against North Fort Myers on the 15th.
