Make it 15 blowout wins for the Eastmark Firebirds this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat American Leadership Academy - Gilbert North 66-20 at home. The win was familiar territory for Eastmark who now have eight in a row.
Eastmark found their leader in underclassman Ella LaFountain, who scored 20 points along with five assists and two steals. Another player making a difference was Kaitlynn Barnett, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds.
Eastmark has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season. As for American Leadership Academy - Gilbert North, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-11.
Eastmark will be playing in front of their home fans against Combs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
