Brother Rice waltzed into their contest on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Glenbrook North Spartans. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Crusaders also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2023.

Colin Nye paced Brother Rice's offense, picking up six kills. Nye got some help from Matthew Phelan and his 16 assists.

Brother Rice's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Glenbrook North, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Brother Rice didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Fremd on the 4th. As for Glenbrook North, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Vernon Hills on the 5th.
