The Massabesic Mustangs will head out to  square off against the Falmouth Navigators  at 11:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Both come into the  game bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
While Massabesic's  victory against Deering wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Mustangs' pitcher stepped up to hand the Rams  a   2-0 shutout  on Thursday. The Mustangs haven't had any issues with the Rams recently, as the game was their third consecutive  win against them.
Deering's batters probably weren't too happy with  Brady Batson, who pitched a no hitter  and racked up ten Ks (he gave up zero walks).
 At the plate,  Noah Bryan was  excellent,  going 1-for-3 with two  stolen bases and one  run.
Meanwhile, Falmouth waltzed into their match  on Thursday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They blew past the Scots 7-0.
Bonny Eagle's batters probably weren't too happy with  Jacoby Porter, who pitched a no hitter  (he gave up two walks). Porter has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in six consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Thomas Healey, who  got on base  in three of his four plate appearances with two  stolen bases, two  runs,  and two  RBI. That's the most  stolen bases  he has posted since back in June of 2024.  Tyler Simmons was another key player,  going 2-for-4 with three  RBI, one  stolen base,  and one  run.
 Massabesic's record now sits at 5-7-1. As for Falmouth, their record is now 9-4-1.
 Massabesic suffered a grim  15-3 defeat to Falmouth  in their previous meeting  back in May of 2024. Can the Mustangs avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
