Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Merrol Hyde Magnet to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tucker Smith, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 15 rebounds. Those 15 rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. Pierce Cook was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with seven rebounds.
This is the second loss in a row for Franklin Christian Academy and nudges their season record down to 1-3. As for Merrol Hyde Magnet, their victory ended a 11-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-7.
